In following the theme of little boys for the weekend, my afternoon session was with the Davy Family and their two little hams. These little guys had all kinds of energy and our session was filled with laughter! I was still smiling as I went through their shots. They were telling me all kinds of stories and about their favorite candies and movies. To round out this beautiful family they brought along their sweet little lab puppy. It was clear that she is showered with love!

Sprenkle Family
This weekend I had two great family sessions and the theme was clearly little boys! The Sprenkle Family session was the first of the day and their three little guys were as handsome as could be! They told me all about their Boy Scout ventures and their love for the outdoors. Typically, you would think 3 boys would be a handful, but these three fellows surely proved the stereotype wrong. Although, I would be willing to bet that they can give their mom and a dad a run for their money from time to time ;)
This next shot is one of my favorites and the pose was all Dad's idea!
I got some great smiles from these little men!
Even the little guy was easy to please :)
Thanks for spending the morning with me, Sprenkle Family! I hope you enjoy your preview :)

Ella
This lovable little girl will most likely be more like a sister to my little gal than a second cousin for the following two reasons: they are only separated in age by about 8 weeks and this is practically how her mom and I grew up! We did a quick mini session for Ella’s fall pictures. Unfortunately, the sun set a little too soon to get her Christmas shots in, so those will follow in a few days… but in the meantime, here are a few shots from the fall portion. Again, I may be biased but do I not have the cutest looking kids in my family?! This has great perks when you are a photographer :)
Don't her eyes just melt your heart in black and white?!
I love this final picture!

Lutze Family - Session 2
Do you remember baby Carter from the Lutze Family session a few months back? Well, this little guy is about to turn a year old in a few days! I can hardly believe time has passed us so quickly! I am so blessed to have the opportunity to watch these great families and their children grow! I must say little Carter is one lovable little guy. We had another seamless session and he sure gave me some chuckles as he “posed."
As I was going through these pictures, I couldn’t help to smile when I realized that this handsome little boy is a perfect symbol of an all American fellow. Please follow me as I explain...Baby Carter loves Football.
He loves Fall!
He loves his Momma...
and of course Daddy, too!
Finally, he looks incredibly handsome in a flannel :)
I told you! I am pretty sure Mommy and Daddy are going to have to watch the little girls with this guy ;)
Thanks, for inviting me back to photograph your family!

Kiley + Jon: Engagement Session
I have been so busy photographing families and children lately that I haven’t had much time for couples, so I was glad when I was able to schedule an afternoon for this engagement session. This session was hosted at the exact spot where Jon proposed to Kiley just a few months earlier. This location, with a perfect fall afternoon and a daring couple made for a fun shoot with endless ideas! This couple even braved a freezing cold stream to get some great shots. Just see for yourself how happy in love this couple is.
This next one is one of my favorites!
Now, meet their dogs! These two pooches posed like pros! I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with two dogs, but much to my surprise they did awesome! There mom and dad should be very proud.
For our last shot the couple reenacted Jon’s proposal, well minus the fish they caught and all the gear :)
