Wright Family ~ Session 2

I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to show you these photos. I photographed this amazing family a few weeks back, but since they were using the photos to announce the pregnancy of their 3rd little one I was sworn to total secrecy :) With that said they have already told their family and friends and now I can share the session with all of you. Our session didn't start out so great as it rained... rained... and then rained some more. So we were literally hurrying through breaks in the rain to snap some photos. Despite the horrible weather the adorable kiddos hung in there and thanks to the big man upstairs we were able to get some great shots! Enjoy!

I saw this idea online and have been dying to try and this family fit the mold to a T :)

I love everything about the colors to this next photo!

I love to see a Momma and Dadda so in love :) It really does make my heart smile :)

Nicole ~ Senior Session

As I am editing these photos my almost 3 year old keeps screaming "that's MY Colie!" That should be enough to tell you what kind of heart this girl has. My daughter proclaims her love for her every time we see her :) So without further ado, meet Nicole, a girl totally after my baby girls heart's ;)

We were trying to come up with neat ways on how to fit Nicole's passions into her photos. She LOVES kids and in return has a chunk of babysitting jobs. So each photo represents some kiddos whom she adores. If you look real close you will even see my girls :)

The next three are totally my favorites!!

Then before I let her go home I let her get mangled by my hounds :) Thanks for being such a good sport Nicole!

Gracie

This was one of those sessions that I couldn't wait to get home and go through! I have known Gracie since... well for a very long time and I can hardly believe she is going to be graduating!? With that said she is also a girl after my own heart. So prepare yourself for photo overload :) We had a great afternoon full of chit chat and horses and I couldn't have asked for a better day. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed our session :)

Meet Toby. Also, a horse after my own heart :) He was a spunky guy today, but was a super model despite his bottled energy.

Special thanks to Gracie's friend for her extra set of hands :)

Patterson Family

This little guy was a bucket of laughs and was probably the busiest little kid I have ever photographed aside from my own!! I am still smiling from the things he said :) Aside from our day of horrible windy weather we were still able to get some cute shots of this little man in action. Let me break down our day for you:

Meet Lucas, one sweet little charmer.

His family is one big ball of Steelers fans and with that little smile of his I didn't have the heart to tell him I am Colts fan :)

We played hide and seek in the trees.

When that got old we thought what better way to put a windy day to use than to fly a kite!!!

When the kite broke he told me he was going to pick up chicks from his truck. With that sweet smile of his, I didn't have the heart to tell him I was already married :(

Then the batteries died. So what else could you possibly do on a Fall day, but haul pumpkins?!?! So we did!

Then he picked some flowers for his Mom and Dad and I thought maybe I would get one... but then he told me he already had a girlfriend. I was crushed. Until I heard  she worked at the Pharmacy and I knew she would take good care of this little man :)

When the wind got the better of us and poor little Lucas was froze to the bone. We went inside and played trucks for a little before I had to go home. I will never forget this little pistol though :)

and please remind me to NEVER let him hang out with my daughter until they are at least 26. They are two peas in a pod and this could be lethal!!

Lyss and Abe ~ Engaged

This engagement shot was especially fun for me because these two (well soon Abe) are family! Alyssa also helps me with my photo sessions when I could use a hand and I was happy to finally be able to take some photos for her for once :) Poor Abe was a trooper while Lyss and I worked through some ideas and we were done in no time! I can't wait for their big day next year :)

I think I am also able to declare after this session that I am obsessed with trees! I think this is just a minor bump in my photography journey ;)
